Technical Seminar on Building Diagnostic Technology
Jointly organized by Building Division of HKIE, Earth Products China Limited (EPC) and Building Diagnostic Consultants Limited (BDC)
On 12th August 2010, a technical seminar is held to HKIE members at the headquarter of HKIE in Causeway Bay. The seminar provided the sound knowledge of the principles, procedures and applications of the latest building diagnostic technologies, focuses on external wall delamination survey, water seepage detection, electrical inspection and cable detection ground penetrating radar survey. The seminar covered the three key topics of “The theory and application of Infrared Thermography”, “Scientific Hammer Tapping Inspection & Crack Monitoring” as well as “Information from Underground”
The seminar was very successful which attracted more than 80 HKIE members to join. Most of the attendants felt great interest on the topics and exchanged idea about the application of infrared thermography, the latest technology on water proofing and crack monitoring.
